Macy was pretty excited to finish her milk and play with the balloons I had put out!
Makayla loves her milk...
...but quickly finished and was ready to play too!
I'm trying to get Macy used to wearing hairbows since her hair is growing into her eyes...it's hard to truly understand from this picture how much she does not love the idea somedays...
...other days, she thinks she looks so pretty!
Today, she was very happy to be ready for school sans the bow!
And here's Makayla ready to roll as well...
But before we went, we had to do a little bit of celebrating...
...and a little sisterly bonding to start the day off right!
We had a special muffin treat for breakfast, since it's too early for the "hard" stuff.
The girls weren't sure of the candle, and I was too afraid to light it in the morning...
But by evening, I was ready to light up the watermelon! :)
And although we're holding out on cake until Saturday, the girls sure enjoyed their birthday watermelon!
