Early in October, we made the fun yearly trip to the Pumpkin Patch!! We made a LONG day out of it by starting the day out with the Susan G Komen race in Charlotte (which was COOOLD, so the only picture I snapped was back in the car while we were waiting for our friends to finish the race)
After the race, we headed for the Pumpkin Patch! Given such a cold morning and a pretty long stroller ride, the girls handled the race very well, and we expected them to squeeze in a quick nap in the car...but, I guess they were just too pumped up by all of the excitement!
They were completely giddy as we headed into the farm!
They just LOVE sharing these experiences with a sister!!
Once "inside", the girls had a great time picking out pumpkins...
and checking out the fire truck with Daddy...
and they LOVED petting and feeding the animals!!!
But the biggest hit was the corn box...
it took them some time to warm up to the idea, so I had to "dive in" with them for a minute...
But before long...
They made themselves right at home!
After a while, they were TIRED...
So we hit the trail on our "tractor ride"...
Grabbed a few pumpkins...man they were HEAVY!!
And then it was time to hit the road...
HAPPY FALL!!
